‘BERING’ CUT DENIM

The Bering cut is made of a black selvedge denim woven on a vintage shuttle loom.

Due to the unique dying process of this denim fabric, not only is the hue a true black, it will fade faster than other black denim on the market; into beautiful shades of grey. The fade contrast and speed achievable with this fabric is most similar to traditional indigo raw denim.

Designed, cut, sewn, and constructed in New York City.

Materials & Care

Sanforized with 3% or less shrinkage—STRAIT recommends wearing cuffed and waiting to alter as needed post-first wash
Cotton is farmed under Better Cotton Initiative™ standards for improved environmental practices and farming communities.
STRAIT recommends only handwashing when needed to help control stretch/shrinkage and cultivate high contrast fades
Expect the dark black color of the fabric to transfer onto lighter colored garments.
